Privacy notice

Last updated 8 September 2026

This notice explains what personal data ROKA Global Recruitment collects through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It covers this website only.

Who is responsible for your data

ROKA Global Recruitment is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us by post, phone or email using the contact details at the bottom of this page, or through the contact form on the homepage.

What we collect, and when

The only personal data this website collects is what you type into the contact form and choose to send us. That form asks for:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your company, which is optional
  • your message

Why we use it

We use these details for one purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to it. We do not use them for marketing, we do not build a profile from them, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.

If your enquiry becomes an ongoing conversation about recruiting for your business or about a role for you, any further information you send us at that point is handled as part of that relationship rather than under this website notice.

Who else can see it

This site is hosted on Netlify, and form submissions are received and stored by Netlify before being forwarded to us by email. Netlify therefore processes your submission on our behalf, and the email itself is delivered to our mailbox by its email provider.

The photographs on the homepage are served from Unsplash rather than from this site, so your browser requests them directly and Unsplash receives your IP address as part of that request — as it would for any image on any site. This happens whether or not you use the contact form.

Apart from those, no third party receives your data. There are no analytics, no advertising tags, no social media embeds and no chat widgets on this site. The links to Facebook and WhatsApp are ordinary links: nothing is loaded from either platform unless you click through, at which point that platform’s own privacy policy applies.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. It stores nothing on your device, it does not track you between visits, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with what you asked us about, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you follow up. After that they are deleted. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, ask us and we will do it.

Your rights

Because we are based in Cyprus, the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to how we handle your data. Under it you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • have inaccurate data corrected
  • have your data deleted
  • ask us to restrict how we use it
  • object to our using it
  • receive it in a portable form
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we relied on your consent

How to exercise them, or complain

Email or phone us using the details below and we will deal with your request. We do not charge for this, and we aim to respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus, which supervises data protection here.

Changes to this notice

If we change how this site handles personal data, we will update this page and the date shown under the heading.
